Reiki Healing

Reiki is a natural holistic  form of healing, using subtle flowing energy between the practitioner and the client. Reiki can do no harm and  is not intended as a replacement for Western allopathic medicine, but can be used alongside it as a complementary therapy.
As Reiki does not include the  use of any drugs, the treatment is completely natural to the wellbeing of the client.

The body has a series of lines meridians and energy centres called chakras which due to stress, injury and trauma  can become damaged, misaligned and out of balance, resulting in the body being tense or not at ease /disease.
Reiki can be used as a tool to realign these systems, promoting better health harmony, balance and a positive feel good factor to the client.
By placing their hands lightly on, or close to the client, the healer channels a flow of positive energy to their most depleted areas, raising their natural body vibration . This can often be sensed as a feeling of warmth , tingling ,pulsing, along with inner relaxation and tranquillity.

Reiki healing has its origins in the Far East, with evidence of healing that can be traced back over many thousands of years. It can also be likened to Chi, Ki, Prana and Holy Spirit in other parts of the World.

During a treatment the client remains fully clothed and is often covered by a towel or blanket.
